it's a character I made up.

And yeah, it was a movie with George Clooney about the middle east and oil embargos or something.

The character name and movie title come from the the legal term "Pax Syriana" which has something to do with Syria and politics, that much I have no idea LOL.

I was going for a sort of ambiguous middle eastern name

thanks! I'm hardly sure at the moment, haha. At first it was a tale of vengeance and legacy... now I'm thinking of adding political unrest to that model. But that's much to complicated for my writing style, so it may simply be reduced to vampire hunting and slapstick comedy... unfortunately lol
